  We really enjoyed our time in Washington State, a beautiful area for outdoor persuits, particularly hiking. Lots of state parks nearby. Seattle had a lot of interesting things to do and we were able to use the park and ride to get there. The Chihuly museum and gardens and museum of flight were favourites. We were able to meet Marilyn and Jeff at Heathrow to give keys and car which was a bonus, very friendly and helpful.

  Happiness is a PERFECT home exchange and that is exactly how we feel about this exchange. Marilyn and Jeff's home, garden and neighborhood were even more beautiful than we expected. The home was warm, inviting, super clean, and such a pleasure to stay in. It was very conveniently located to explore Seattle and the surrounding area. They provided detailed information on tourist and nature activities around their area and specific info on how to use appliances, etc. around their home. They were extremely responsive when we had questions. We just couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more. We even got lucky and got to meet them at the airport as our travels crossed paths.

  Hello Marilyn and Jeff, we had a wonderful time in your lovely house, playing piano, enjoying sunny and peaceful hours on the deck, watching rabbits, birds and ... the mole. It's also a great place for exploring not only Seattle but also for hiking and biking. We couldn't get enough from Mount Rainier Nationalpark, we were fascinated by the landscape on the other side of Snoqualmie Pass and we fell in love with Whitby Island. But you haven't to drive far away to get all the pleasure of nearby charming hiking trails in the woods like Evans Creek, Poo Poo Point or Tiger Mountain Trail. Our stay was rounded off going to Issaquah cinema, exploring almost all Sushi restaurants and a 3 days trip to Victoria. You live in an area of outstanding beauty! It was such a great pleasure meeting you in Solingen when we returned and spending 2 days together. Thank you for caring so well about Schnucki and our house. We hope we'll stay in touch. • Cozy home in beautiful area close to Seattle

  Dear Marilyn, dear Jeff, thank you for the wonderful exchange. We enjoyed staying in your cozy house where we felt at home right away. There was a lot room for all of us, and we found everything we needed easily. It was easy to go to Seattle by driving to a close park & ride and taking the express bus to downtown Seattle. After visiting this vibrant city it was so good to relax at your quiet place, just sitting outside on the deck and enjoying nice summer evenings. It is in such a beautiful area with lakes and waterfalls very close. We could reach all the places very comfortably with your nice new car. It was so great meeting you in Seattle and Hamburg !

• Viel Raum zum Wohlfühlen

  Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Marilyn and Jeffs Haus. Es ist sehr sauber und unglaublich geräumig. Die großzügige Terrasse und der Garten laden zum Entspannen ein. Auch die Abholung am Busbahnhof und der Autotausch haben wunderbar funktioniert. Marilyn und Jeff haben unser Apartment ebenfalls pfleglich behandelt. Wir haben Seattle erkundet, unser Favorit war allerdings die Wanderung zum Snow Lake. Leider haben wir uns nicht persönlich kennen gelernt, aber der Kontakt per Skype und Email war sehr nett. Wir können diesen Tausch nur wärmstens empfehlen!
