  Andreas and Maja's home is a well located suburban townhouse in the eastern part of Berlin. It is a family home with young children. The description of the home provided on the website is entirely accurate. Our exchange took place in Winter when many of the trees were bare and gardens in retreat. Looking around at the surroundings we could imagine how beautiful it must be in the warmer months. There are numerous supermarkets located close by, as there are restaurants (our favourite being Il Mondo). The transport links to the city were within a comfortable walking distance and they provided quick and regular access to Alexanderplatz. Good communication was established with the neighbours prior to our arrival and we were given a thorough introduction to the house by Thomas when we arrived.
