Great house, great location! We enjoyed a wonderful & relaxing stay in Eric's spacious home situated in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of an efficient public transportation system. We arrived in early May when a wide range of Spring flowers were in bloom. Lush greenery & gorgeous gardens in the neighborhood & throughout downtown Portland. The home offered a perfect base to explore the city of Portland but also to take some driving trips to the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood & the coast. So much to see & do in the area & then always a pleasure to come back to the house to relax.

Our house is nestled within a quiet, friendly neighborhood located just a short drive to the freeway allowing for convenient access to the airport (15 min.), downtown Portland (10 min.), and nearby neighborhoods including Irvington, Mississippi, Laurelhurst and the Alberta Arts district. Using public transportation around the city and to and from the airport is incredibly convenient as the Hollywood MAX (light rail) station is nearby as well as several bus lines that service the area.

Hop on the freeway and be at Multnomah Falls and beautiful hiking in the Gorge in only 30 minutes.
Go another 30 minutes and you will be in Hood River, windsurfing capital of the world. Enjoy wineries, see the windsurfers and kite boarders, do the Fruit Loop, eat, drink and be merry ~ they have quaint bistros, fabulous dining and numerous festivals.

For mountain enthusiasts, Mt. Hood's Government Camp is only 1 hour from the home, where you will find SkiBowl, Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Meadows ski resort, lake and river fishing, hiking, and much more. Take the Mt. Hood Scenic Byway for a very full day!

Or head down south to wine country, only a 60 minute drive to beautiful Dundee where you can sip some of the finest Pinot Noir that Oregon has to offer.

You can be at the beautiful Oregon coast in 90 minutes. Enjoy the beauty as you cruise along the historic 101 highway. There are plenty of stops to enjoy a seafood lunch. Be sure to stop at the Tillamook Creamery to indulge your sweet tooth in Oregon's finest ice cream.

We would like to find the house in the same condition when you arrived with the exception of linens need only be placed in the laundry room
The back yard is set up to be a functional dog run and any accompany pet would use this area exclusively for outside home exercise. Clean up afterward would be good. Neighbourhood walks on leash only. No smoking in house including MJ
