Our apartment in Lausanne, Switzerland comes with dedicated kids’ rooms and a balcony with views of Lake Geneva. It sleeps 6 + 1. It has plenty of toys and is just steps away from a wonderful playground and a kid-friendly cafe (during summer time). Lausanne is home to amazing cultural sights, including theaters, museums, art galleries, botanical gardens, and dance companies, as well as a bustling urban culture. The apartment is short distance to all the central attractions, shops, and museums, but in a quiet, family-friendly part of town. Visit the shores of Lake Geneva (10 minutes by car) for a lake-side beach, majestic harbor, and spacious green parks.

The apartment is safe and secure, located on the first floor (with an elevator) of a 4-storey building. There is wood flooring throughout (unglazed). Sorry - no pets allowed. Car rental is not essential - the apartment is well served by bus and train links. If you do have a car, there is 1 private parking spot in a secure underground garage and another spot for visitors in front of the building. The apartment is 3 minutes walk from 2 bus stops (1 direct line to the city center; 1 direct line to the train station). The residence comes with a dishwasher, housekeeper, washer/dryer, TV, DVD player, and WiFi.

The apartment has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all set on 1 floor. There is a large open plan living/dining room and fully-equipped kitchen, plus access to a large balcony which has views of Lake Geneva. The primary bedroom has a kingsize bed, and there are 2 children’s bedrooms: one with a single sofa bed plus a crib, and another with a set of bunk beds (with bed rail). A travel crib can be added to either of the bedrooms on request. There is also a study which can be used as an additional bedroom if required.

There are plenty of toys for children under 5, including: Lego, dolls, cars, books, games, a bike, a tricycle, a scooter, craft materials, and an inflatable paddling pool for little ones to use on the balcony. We also have lots of board games, books, and comics for older kids and teenagers. This residence is also perfect for parents with babies or toddlers: we provide a baby bath, baby monitor, high chairs, changing table, and children’s utensils. There are 2 parks nearby with playgrounds (at both ends of the street), one of which has a sand pit, as well as a free outdoor swimming pool (during the summer months) and tennis courts just a few minutes away.
