We are a "new" family with my two sons (one adult 20 years old and one 15) and my fiancé with his two children, around 10. We have both full time jobs. Johan is in the IT business and I work in the Opera house. We like to build on our houses, sailing, evening walks, some bicycle tours, occasionaly we try to work-out, eat good meals with good wine and enjoy life close to the ocean. Sometimes my oldest son comes with us for travels, usually there are 5 of us.

We had a wonderful stay in the wooden yellow house in Onsala. The house was nice and comfortable with 2 sunny terraces. At the end of the small street there was a small playground and footballgoals. We borrowed the familys bicycles for small trips in the area, but mostly we used our car for trips. The beautyful coast is nearby, and our kids especially loved swimming and jumping from the cliffs at Röda Holme. Daytrips to Göteborg (including Liseberg and island hopping), Trollhättan and Kungsbacka are also recommendable.

Our neighbourhood is located 10-15 min walk from the ocean with harbour, beaches and cliffs. It is a family area with houses and green areas.

Våre tips til steder å gå og ting å gjøre mens du bor i vårt hjem

On walking distance (15 min) you will find grossery store, restaurants, farmacy and the ocean. There are also forest areas, suitable for outdoor activities, leading towards anoteher area with cliffs and ocean. The space observatorie is also in the neighbourhood, but a longer walk is required (45 min walk). Horse farms, golf, paintball, church and harbours aso. If you go to the city centre, 15 min by car you will find big stores of food, fish market, clothes, outlet, alcohol, cinema, bars, restaurants. And if you go even further to Gothenburg you can enjoy the second largest city of Sweden. The largest amusement park in Scandinavia.

Of course we would like you to be careful with our house. Leave it as you found it. Feel at home. Don't party and make noise late in the evenings (it turns quiet around 23 on weekends). No smoking inside, if you have to smoke take care of the remains safely.
