On arrival, Paul and Wendy had a beautiful roast dinner ready for us and a stocked fridge! The house is spotless and a guide for the house explains everything clearly and simply. Within a half hour to hour drive, we walked the Brecon Beacons, explored canals, local villages and the Welsh coastline. We a enjoyed a pub lunch with Paul and Wendy on the coast. They are enthusiastic home exchangers who are very friendly and considerate of their guests.

A completely Newly Renovated Old Miners Cosy Cottage with lots of Local History in a quaint little village two miles from a large town,
We Exchange on a regular basis mostly at the moment on NON SIMULTANEOUS Exchanges in Australia so Exchangers can come to our home All YEAR round.
We are in Australia every year November to March,
But you can come to us anytime ?
We are clean & tidy and respect Others' property as if it where our own,

Love the Beach,

Our Home is a fully Central Heated Modern Two Bedroomed newly renovated Old Miners Cosy Cottage with full internet, fully equipped Kitchen with electric hotplates, electric oven, microwave. Informal dining room/family room off kitchen with TV/DVD player, One Bathroom/ Shower/ Two Toilets with safe off road parking behind Electric Roller Shutter Doors which sits on the edge of the Famous Brecon Beacons Mountain Range in a small Welsh Town called Merthyr Tydfil with a population of 52,000 with good motorway access to Cardiff "45 mins Capital" Bristol 90 mins, Birmingham and the Midlands 115 mins , London Two and a half hours.

We have two cars of which we would like to exchange the five year old "Low Mileage" Citroen C1,

We live a small quaint friendly little village called Troedyrhiw (Nr Merthyr Tydfil) which sits on the edge of the famous Brecon Beacons Mountain Range (which most Australians call little Austria) because of its beautiful evergreen countryside, lakes and Rolling Mountain Hills.
The town it's self is called Merthyr Tydfil its a Valley town and has 50,000 inhabitants and boasts lots of industrial heritage history .
What makes our village so unique is that on one hand you have all this heritage and history and on the other hand you have this beautiful Countryside that goes on for ever as far has the eye can see, you can even walk the mountains and valleys with walking & Biking tracks that go on for 30 or so Miles way up into the stunning beautiful countryside.
Dotted along this amazing beautiful countryside are old Inns & Taverns/ Restaurants which entice you to taste their Real Ales and (wait a while) with an hospitality that you only find in the (Land of Song) Wonderful Wales.
They say that God made Haven & Earth in six days and made Wales on the seventh ?

From our house you can actually hear the famous Brecon Mountain Miniature Railway which for a small fee takes you into the heart of the countryside hills with magnificent scenery of lakes, reservoirs and rolling mountain hills which allows you to roam free in the Brecon Beacons National Park (with or without a car) and experience the renowned Welsh friendliness and the fine tastes of Good Welsh Cooking & Real Ales that many Old Taverns & Inns that this beautiful country side has to offer.
All this on your doorstep with a 1600 Century Pub/Restaurant and 18 Hole Golf Club/Restaurant round the corner.
