Lovely home! Andrew greeted us at the railway station and took us on the short drive to their home. He showed us everything that we needed to know for our stay. Very comfy home and quiet neighbourhood. Great rear garden sitting areas and bbq! Horbury has all that you would require for your stay. Great pubs and restaurants. Supermarket conveniently next block. Easy drive to the Dales. York is only a short train ride and well worth a visit. We enjoyed our short stay very much! Thanks Anne and Andrew =))

We were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend 2 weeks in Anne and Andrew's fabulous chateau (aka Gîte) in the Brittany France countryside near the historic town of Josslyn. It is a beautiful and spacious comfortable home with all the amenities one would need. Quiet and peaceful would be the best way to describe our stay. The nearby Midieval town of Josslyn is an amazing community to visit, enjoy the sights, castle and of course wonderful restaurants. A car is a must here as there are many things to do and see. We especially enjoyed our trip to the coast to walk about the red granite rock formations and historic beaches. Although we had a car, we were allowed to use the bicycles at the Gîte and did several tours in the surrounding area! A bit cold in late September, we still warmed to the local foods to warm our tummies! All in all this stay was one of our most treasured 2019 memories !
