From our house, it is a short walk to Belper's award-winning high street with its fantastic selection of independent cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. There is a monthly farmer's market and events throughout the year including Summer and Winter Food Festivals, 'Belper Goes Green' eco-festival, the Belper Games etc. Belper has several real-ale pubs and a recently-opened cocktail bar, in addition to many popular restaurants and cafes, including an award-winning delicatessen.
Belper is ideally located for outdoor pursuits including hiking, cycling (cycle hire nearby and several long-distance cycle trails through the Peak District), watersports (at Carsington Water) and is well situated for a range of attractions in Derbyshire and the Midlands.
