Detached house on two floors, first floor includes, open plan lounge/dining room, double bedroom/family bathroom, master -bedroom/en-suite shower room. Fully equipped kitchen. On the ground floor, summer lounge, twin bedroom/en-suite shower room, games room and garage. Electric radiators, log fire & a pellet stove. Electric fans for summer. Garden with swimming pool & lovely mountain views. Visit the real Spain. Our house is set in the hills overlooking the small town of Durcal in the beautifull Lecrin Valley. It is ideally situated for sightseeing, walking, skiing. 20mins. to historic Granada/Alhambra Palace, 25mins. to coast and beaches, 1hr. to ski slopes of Sierra Nevada, 3hrs. Cordoba,
3hrs. Seville, 4hrs. Madrid.

Durcal is a small lively market town with plenty of cafes/tapas bars, supermarkets, shops, banks etc. There is a local market on Wednesdays.
A good bus service into the local villages and Granada. Ideal for walkers. During the summer months each village has its own fiesta and concerts.
Durcal has a beautiful vineyard/hotel, well worth a visit.

The local shops, banks, cafes, buses etc are only a ten minute walk or two minutes by car. 25 minute by car is the famous Alhambra Palace &
Generalife Gardens, also the Science Park, Museums, and historic churches and buildings. Plenty of restaurants/tapa bars and pretty squares. The Sierra Nevada is 45 mins. from Granada, ski-ing during the winter, trekking during the summer months. 25 mins. by car to the coast/beaches of Salobrena. 10 mins. further along the coast to Almunecar, large market every Friday, plenty of bars/restaurants.
