Our home has sweeping views over Lake Hawea and is a 14 min drive to Wanaka township, Hawea has a modern local pub, shop and restaurant . The house is mediteranean style with rough cast plaster over hebel stone. Is north facing, warm in winter with central heating and log burner. Cool in summer, comfortable with awesome lake and mountain views, 2 bedrooms one queen size and the other is a study with a comfortable couch, a desk and sound system . We use this as a "retreat room" Bathroom and sep. WC,
New kitchen. Sheltered courtyards, for indoor outdoor dining and a private BBQ area in the garden.
There is plenty to do in the Lakes area summer or winter. Good fishing at Lake Hawea, and the Clutha river, water sports plus beautiful walking/cycling tracks. Golf course and vineyards close by. Just 35mins to Cardrona Alpine resort and Snow Park, 1 hour 15mins to Queenstown. We have run our own tourist accommodation and Retreat for health and well being in previous years and we are familiar with high standards of presentation and comfort. Happy to house /pet sit . Lake Hawea is a lovely village on the edge of a stunning alpine lake and surrounded by the vast Southern Alps. You can choose to participate in the many outdoor pursuits on offer or sit by the window and marvel at the ever changing view. Lake Hawea has a modern hotel and cafe and General Store, and a small golf course, all within one kilometre of our house. No need to go into Wanaka and the hype if you dont feel like it.

Our home is set up for adults and teenage children. Maximum of 3 people.
We have good internet and Sonos music system for your enjoyment through out the house.
Easy care home with automatic irrigation. Only indoor plant require watering.
