We are a family of four living in the very center of Berlin. We've already had some exchanges (Rom, Stockholm, Paris, Amsterdam) and it was always a great experience. We prefer exchanges with other families that have children of the same age (our kids are 10 and 7).

Steffen works as a teacher for philosophy and German literature and Anne works as a writer for TV.

Though we live in the city of Berlin it'll take you just a bike ride of 30min (or also with public transport or car) out into the green and to the beach at the big lake Wannsee. The area we live in is one of Berlins most exclusive living areas (just a 5 min walk to famous boulevard Kurfürstendamm) also because most of the buildings are still from the 19th century. A lot of famous artists lived around here and still do. It is really the typical old Berlin. You will find a lot of cafes, bars, restaurant, galleries, shops and cinemas.

The next tube station is just 50meters away. From here you can get in 15 min to Alexanderplatz, Friedrichstraße or Potsdamer Platz. And if you checked all the tourists attractions we have some more information for you.

Of course you are allowed to borrow our bikes (2 adult and 2 kid bikes).

At the moment we are looking for something interesting in summer. We can imagine to travel to Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland rod Great Britain. We like to travel for 2-6 weeks. Cities or countryside? We don't care and are openminded.

We are also looking for a long trip to USA or Canada. If you want to exchange with us for some weeks in summer 2017, please contact us.
