Liebe Gitta, lieber Herbert, ihr habt wirklich einen perfekten Haustausch mit uns durchgeführt! Ihr habt alles super vorbereitet und unseren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gestalten lassen. Das einzige was nicht in Eurer Macht stand war das Wetter. Aber auch das ist in HH kein Problem wenn man mit offenem Herzen die statt erlebt! Herzlichen Dank noch einmal für Alles!

Gitta and Herbert's lovely home is in a great location to explore all of Hamburg from. Having access to their bikes was wonderful as we found this a great way to get around the city and explore. Public transport is also excellent and very near their apartment. If you have a car, you can park it and only use it for excursions as we did. You really do not need a car at all in this lovely city. They are seasoned home exchangers and the organization of all of the information provided and the ease of access and comfort throughout their home made this evident. We explored all of the various neighborhoods in Hamburg and can honestly say that their corner of the city in Ottensen was our favorite. In Ottensen, you have Farmer's Markets nearly every day of the week as well as a vibrant and walkable center core with lovely restaurants, cafes and locally owned shops. Gitta and Herbert have lived in their building a long time as well and all of the neighbors were very friendly. The entire neighborhood and their own building had a very warm, community feel to it. Summer and early Fall is likely the best time to go to have the most pleasant weather, The area they live in is just beautiful and there is certainly a lot to see and do in Hamburg. It was a lovely exchange!

Sonne am Morgen , Blick in die Natur mit Eichhörnchen- Tanz, frisch gemahlener Kaffee am dem Balkon- ein Lob auf den Wohnungstausch. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgerüstet , gepflegt, fantasievoll gestaltet. Wir haben uns sehr heimisch gefühlt. Die gute Lage in Elbnähe fanden wir sehr reizvoll . Danke für die persönlichen Anregungen und die Unterstützung Neues in Hamburg zu entdecken. Angenehme , zuverlässige Kommunikation. Welch ein Geschenk bei der Rückkehr einen leckeren Apfelkuchen, ein ausgezeichnetes Szegediner Gulasch , nette Blümchen und eine selbstgestaltete Karte zu finden. Danke für diese außergewöhnliche menschliche Begegnung .

Excellent stay in light- filled elegant apartment with easy access both to Hamburg centred the baks of the river Elbe.

Wir haben uns in dieser in jedem Detail liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung mit Terrasse und Außensitzplatz sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die von unseren Tauschpartnern empfohlene Tour "eat the world" war ein guter Einstieg zum Kennenlernen des Stattteils Ottensen. Mit den guten Rädern unserer Tauschpartner waren wir viel unterwegs - blitzschnell waren wir an der Elbe, problemlos in der Innenstadt und anderswo. Auch die Busanbindung ist prima. Sehr angenehm auch der Austausch per Mail und What´s App mit den Partnern - rundum gelungen.

Unser Besuch in Hamburg war wieder sehr schön wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in der freundlichen, hellen Wohnung. Man kann vieles zu Fuß erreichen, wir hatten ja 2 Buslinien vor der Haustür, somit waren wir sehr mobil, ohne das Auto benutzen zu müssen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! MfG! Fam. Huber

We had a wonderful time in HAMBURG .. The appartement is spacious and clean with a beautiful balcony. Easy TRANSPORT to the city center. Nothing to complain, just perfect.
