Maison très confortable située dans un décor enchanteur!

A wonderful exchange in a beautiful, quiet country setting and only a 20 minute drive to Ottawa. A wonderful location from which to explore the surrounding regions of Quebec and Ontario. A five minute drive to beautiful walking and bicycling trails in the Gatineau parks. Thanks Helene and Wilfrid for a wonderful exchange experience!

Magnifique endroit près de la nature. Les fleurs et les oiseaux abondent. Maison accueillante et confortable. Hôtes très serviables.

We have just returned from this lovely area of Canada of lush woodland, rivers and lakes. Helene and Wilfrid’s lovely comfortable home is indeed in a beautiful location bordered by woodland by the river. There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen in the pretty garden, blue jays, chickadees, black squirrel, chipmunks, deer, to name a few. Ottawa is in easy reach but other cities would be quite a long drive. We drove to Algonquin Park (3 hours), Omega Parc (1 hour away - fabulous!) and Mont Tremblant (lovely) in the Laurentians. (2 hours). The local villages of Wakefield and Chelsea are very pretty and the Gatineau Park is beautiful. This is a lovely holiday for those who like peaceful surroundings, walking, nature and wildlife.

Tout a été réuni pour nous offrir un séjour inoubliable. Une maison adorable et confortable nichée au cœur d'un magnifique jardin peuplé de visiteurs (geais bleus, cardinals rouges, mésanges, tamia, écureuil...) avec vue sur la rivière Gatineau. Un endroit où il faisait bon se retrouver après toutes nos escapades pour visiter cette superbe région du Canada. Et que dire d'Hélène et Wilfried, de belles personnes, sympathiques, généreuses avec qui nous l'espérons nous garderons une longue amitié.
