We agree with all previous reviewers. What can we add? Communication with Deirdre & Mark is very pleasant. Their neighbours are very friendly and helpful too. We went to Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Yorkshire Dales, York, Manchester, Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge, the local store run by volunteers, a great local pub… and more!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Deirdre and Mark’s beautiful, comfortable home. We enjoyed walking in the gorgeous countryside, in the hills, the moors and along the canals. There’s so much to do nearby – Hebden Bridge is a lovely, interesting town as is Saltaire mill town (and the David Hockney gallery); and the Bronte house in Haworth (and very cute steam train); Syhiba restaurant was a delight. Deirdre and Mark's house is an incredible beautiful and welcoming place, full of british elegance and modern comfort. We loved spending time there, also simply sitting in the garden and read. The area is full of possibilities, be it art, cities, daytrips to castles, organic producers. The Hebden Bridge area is culturally vibrant and there are plenty of things to discover. We spend lots of time walking and hiking along the canals and up onto the moors. During our stay, we fell in love with Bertie, one of the cats, joining us whenever we were at home. A great summer holiday, it would be definetively worth a remake in some years passing. ;-)

We've had a perfect time in the beautiful house of Deirdre and Mark. We loved the views, the space, the large rooms, the superb garden, the cats and so much more. The village Mytholmroyd is hard to pronounce, but is has everything you need, including a station, where you can take the train to Manchester - 30 minutes! (love that city). So when you're looking for a great, laid back holiday in this beautiful part of Engeland, this is the place to be. Again many thanks, and bye from Tilburg, Netherlands
