We enjoyed Beck and Pete’s house in Gymea Bay so much we did not want to leave! The view from the back deck is fantastic. We sat there for hours, listening to the birds and watching the sunset. We felt right at home. It was a treat to stay in the area where I grew up. Fantastic visit to Australia.

Beskrivelse av hjemmet vi tilbyr å bytte bort

We have a lovely comfortable home only 15 minutes from the beautiful Cronulla Beaches for great surfing and swimming. Our back deck overlooks the Hacking River and Royal National Park, (Sydneys biggest National Park ). It's only 10 minutes drive to world class walking tracks in the Park. The Royal is well known for its 30 klm Coast Walk taking in stunning coastal and bushland scenery. We have a bus stop nearby and are 2 klm from the railway station for easy access (40 min) to the city centre and all the sights that Sydney has to offer.
Our car can be available to do some touring of other areas if you choose.
Gymea Bay is a quiet, affluent suburb with easy access to the City and the beautiful South Coast.

Gymea Bay is a leafy, quiet suburb surrounded by waterways and 15 minute drive to the beach. Great cafes and restaurants, pub and nightclub in our local shopping area 2km away. Golf, all water sports, surfing , hiking easily accessed. Playgrounds close by within easy walking distance and Gymea Bay pool only 500 metres walk.

A very popular Mexican Restaurant is just around the corner, a Pizza/ Pasta shop and daytime cafe/ coffee shop.
10 minute drive to the Royal National Park, Australia's oldest National Park and its many walking trails, including the world famous Coast Track, a 27km walk along the cliffs and through bushland on track and boardwalk.
Open air saltwater pool within 200 meters walk from the front door. Great swimming or fishing spot on Gymea Bay.
Large Westfield Shopping Centre at Miranda, 3km away accessible by car, walk or bus and train.
Bus to Gymea Station 50 meters from the front door. This gives easy access to trains to the city. 40min to the city in the train (best way to go)
Cronulla and all the Shire's beautiful beaches 15min drive (12km) or can go by train.
Indoor and outdoor 50m pool and children's pool at Sutherland Leisure Centre 4km
Cinemas at Miranda Westfield
