Stephen and Pauline are retired teachers who have travelled extensively and completed many house exchanges both in Australia and overseas. A modern, energy efficient home located just 900 meters from the shopping area. It has a large front deck with excellent views across the town to nearby hills. The smaller rear deck has a BBQ. It has everything you need for a quiet and relaxing stay

Bright is a popular tourist destination in Victoria' attractive north-east. It nestles in the sheltered Ovens valley, surrounded by mountains which offer skiing in our winter months, and scenic walking/cycling at other times. See the wildflowers in summer! The views from Mt. Buffalo are magnificent For a small town we offer a range of eateries to suit all tastes and budgets, as well as an award winning boutique brewery. Nearby are many quality wineries in the three Alpine valleys-and it is only an hour to Rutherglen-famous for its fortified wines.
Cyclists have the choice of trails linking towns near and far, while the roads offer more accomplished riders challenging alternatives. Bright has an interesting Museum and a community
Art Gallery.
The historic gold towns of Beechworth and Yackandandah are a pleasant drive away. Further afield are the regional towns of Wangaratta and Albury-Wodonga. It is a four hour drive over scenic Mt. Hotham to Victoria's east coast beaches and inlets.
