Swampscott is quiet and Colette's house is located a 3 minute drive from a Whole Foods and 20 minutes from some really beautiful beaches.

Excellent house swap to a charming New England house with a large pool in a lovely area. Good communication with Colette and her son, who picked us up at the airport. Swampscott is small but very attractive and has easy access by car or public transport to Boston and lovely Cape Ann Towns such as Marblehead, Salem, Gloucester and Rockport. Plenty to see and do including gardens, great art and museums. You'll need a car to do shopping and get to train/subway stations etc.

It was a treat to meet John and Colette, our exchange partners, at our airport gate as we shared the same arrival and destinations cities. Our extensive communication before the trip included a Face Time call about the house details which was helpful. We arrived at the house to a thoughtful welcome gift, card and several suggestions for tourist sites. They also generously left guest passes to one of our favorite Boston museums. The home was a comfortable and quiet base for our trips around the seaside community and into Boston on the public transportation. We would highly recommend this home as a destination in an amazing part of the US.
