Located in West Chelsea, central to many Manhattan attractions. The now world-famous High Line elevated park is 2 minutes from our door and a 10-minute walk to the new Whitney Museum. 2 blocks away is the Hudson River Park, including Little Island, with miles of walking and bike paths and great views up and down the river. Within a 10 to 15 minutes walk are several world-class restaurants -- and many just very good ones. Within a 4 block radius, there are more than 100 modern art galleries. There are numerous "trendy" boutiques a short walk south in the Meat Market and a very upscale shopping mall in Hudson Yards a short walk north (on the High Line).

By taxi cab, Greenwich Village is five minutes, the Broadway theater district is 15 minutes; Grand Central Station and 5th Avenue shopping are 20 minutes. Or you can walk to these areas as we often do. Major subway lines are a two, three, or four-block walk. There is a shopping district with large discount stores four blocks east and an enormous indoor and outdoor recreation center three blocks west built on old shipping piers on the Hudson River.
