Our large, comfortable home sits on 2 wooded acres in the country-like suburbs of Washington, DC. We are 20 minutes from the subway to DC (or a 40 minute drive straight into the city), 15 minutes from historic Annapolis and the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, and two and a half hours from the Atlantic Ocean.

Washington, DC is a wonderful vacation destination. In addition to the historic monuments and governmental buildings, DC is home to the Smithsonian Institution system of museums, which has a world-class collection of historical artifacts, natural treasures, and art. And unlike virtually every other city in the world, every single one of those monuments and museums is free! You can also visit privately-run museums, such as the Spy Museum and certain art museums, for a fee.

From our home, it's just a few minutes to the quaint colonial town of Annapolis, MD, where you can explore the restaurants, take a sailboat ride, visit the U.S. Naval Academy, or swim in the Chesapeake Bay.

After a busy day exploring, grill a fresh meal on our deck and enjoy it by our private pool.
