We have a spacious apartment in the Bronx. There is a master bedroom with a queen sized bed. The smaller 2nd bedroom is for our daughter and has a crib with a lot of toys, books and also a small full size bed. The kitchen has everything you need and a dining room with a table that seats 3 comfortably. In the living room we have 3 big windows that overlook a courtyard full of plants and trees. We have a flat screen TV and two small couches. One of the couches pulls out into bed that fits one person. In the summer we have window A/C units that cool the apartment along with ceiling fans. The bathroom has a shower and not a bathtub.

This is a lively area of the Bronx. Is considered the Morris Park section of the Bronx and there are nice Italian restaurants within walking distance along with several small Albanian, Jamaican and Chinese food restaurants as well. Along with Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts there are 2 grocery stores for your shopping needs. While this is an urban it isn’t necessarily quiet it is a diverse and safe area. We are also very close to Arthur Ave which is considered the more authentic Little Italy of NYC. We are also near the New York Botanical Gardens and Bronx Zoo. We are near the 2/5 subway lines and express buses that will take you to midtown Manhattan within 45 mins. There are also a few parks and playgrounds within walking distance for kids.

Located within a 5-10 minute walk is F&J Pine a great Italian restaurant with huge portions. Also nearby is The Colonial Restaurant which is Dominican Republic/Spanish food restaurant. If you have never had Albanian bureks please check out the local burek spot. As stated before we are near Little Italy on Arthur Ave with several Italian restaurants, shops and markets. There is small craft brew spot inside the Arthur Ave market.

Please have our apartment neat, clean and tidy for when we get back. We do have 2 cats and someone else could feed and change their litter if needed.
