Our home is made up of two workers cottages built in the 1850s, and the age is reflected in the fact there are areas of low headroom and the stairs are narrow and a little steep. The two cottages have been knocked together to form a house with 2 bedrooms, a lounge and a kitchen diner. The house is small but can accommodate 4 adults with ease. There is a double bedroom along with a bigger twin bedroom, which could be big enough to contain a small cot/crib. There is a separate toilet and the bathroom has a small bathtub with an electric shower over the tub.
The home is centrally heated and double glazed throughout, although we do have a fully usable fireplace, which makes for a very cosy house on the colder nights. There is broadband WiFi throughout the house and we have a television with DVD player built in. The TV can show live programs, but is also connected to an Amazon Fire Stick streaming system. We also have an old but working laptop, with full internet access.
There is under stairs storage and a small storage room to the side of the kitchen which contains a washing machine & tumble dryer with room to hang coats and store muddy walking boots.
There is a small outside area laid with gravel.
