We are in the historic priory town of Christchurch 2 miles from the beach at mudeford 2 miles from the new forest The town is a riot of cafes, restaurants, wine bars, beautiful old ruins the huge priory and sweet museum. We are 5 mins from Christchurch quay with the great Boat house restaurant, Thomas Tripp pub and restaurant, have a look at the paintings on the walls all the regular customers are pictured mostly as fishermen or life boat crew.small boutiques and the must have Marks food hall also Waitrose is 600 yards away from the house none the less we are in a quiet lane ending by the river with the ducking stool next to the house.we are in a private gate community with parking. The people in our square are mostly professional people friendly and helpful without intruding. From here you can take a punt up the river get a Brenda bike and cycle anywhere catch the bus they run every 20 mins to all areas of beautiful Dorset,don’t forget your buss pass and the wonderful Bournemouth beaches.6 miles away.Or explore the New Forest.horse ride swim in the sea stroll to the pub or sit in my tiny garden with a glass or two whatever you decide “Christchurch where time is pleasant” is the towns slogan and rightly so.
