A modern house , with spacious open plan kitchen, dining and seating areas, with lovely views over the neighbouring farmland. . There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We are available for non simultaneous exchanges excluding July and August.
If The Longhouse is not available on your requested dates we can offer accommodation in our main residence which is next door- spacious and comfortable with a large garden but no hot tub! We can offer hospitality or vacate to spend time with family.

We are conveniently situated in the middle of Dumfries and Galloway allowing easy access to many attractions in this picturesque part of Scotland. The area has attractive coastal villages and towns, a beautiful coastline and lush green forests farmland and hills. Edinburgh, Glasgow and The Lake District are all approx a 2hour drive away.
There is much wildlife locally including red squirrels, red deer, ospreys, red kites etc- lots to see and photograph. There are many outdoor activities to enjoy including walking for all levels of fitness, cycling, golf, water sports, mountain biking, fishing etc. The area also has historical castles and abbeys to visit as well as beautiful gardens and interesting museums and art galleries.
