A very nice and comfortable place in the lovely town of Valencia.The apartment is situated just outside the center in a quite area. The house has a nice "portero", Angel, who is very helpful. There is also a public swimming pool 5 minutes away from the apartment which is good if you travel with children. We were there in July-August and yes, it is hot, but the breeze from the sea is refreshing and in the apartment you can organise a draught and then it is not a problem. Our kids, 6 and 9, did not complain about the heat. Valencia is such a cool and beautiful town where you both can enjoy the clean and well managed beaches (check out El Saler) as well as explore the old historic city center. There are also nice villages and mountain areas just outside Valencia. It was very easy to communicate with Guillermo and Christina and the exchange was a smooth experience all the way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our exchange with the Artes family. Their home was ideal for visiting Valencia, very comfortable and in a quiet but accessible part of town. We were made to feel very welcome with a full fridge and lots of local information to help our stay. Guillermo was able to answer all of our questions and provide personalised recommendations. Angel, the concierge, also deserves a special mention as he was very helpful and friendly.

We loved everything that Valencia had to offer us - the beautiful weather, the wonderful food, the awe-inspiring history, the gorgeous beaches, the friendly people, the brilliant language school.... all so easily accessible from your apartment. Truly Valencia is a great city to visit and we loved every minute of our holiday.
