We live in Karlskoga, a town in Mid-Sweden. We live in a 50+ house in the center of Karlskoga. Our flat has three rooms and a balcony. We live on the third floor and the house has a lift. Our town has a lake where you can go swimming. Just outside town there is a golf-course.
Värmland, the county where we live is known for its natural beauty with lakes and big forests.
Stockholm is about 240 km away and Oslo, Norway, is about 280 km away.
We also have a small but nice 1-room flat with kitchen and balcony in a quiet part of central Stockholm which our exchange partners are welcome to use as much as they like during the stay in Sweden.
We have more than 20 years experience of home exchange.
We are both retired after having worked as a teacher and as a social worker.
