This home exchange was perfect for us. The house is well located : near the metro, on the edge of a canal and in a quiet area. Go shopping is easy : jumbo is still open ;)! lot of museum absoutely wonderfull. Park the car was easy thanks to Arjan and Kristin. We could also use their bikes. It was quick and easy to communicate with Arjan and Kristin. We have very nice memories of this family trip. Thanks a lot

Es war nett euch in Bielefeld zu treffen. Kinderfreundliche Wohnung, Frühstück und Boot gucken auf dem Kanal, Radtouren in der Stadt. Wasserbus fahren..... und nicht zu vergessen die schönen Strände bei Hoek van Holland.

Our stay in Rotterdam was fantastic! Their home was very spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the river. There were so many activities to do for the family that we couldn't possibly see it all. It was conveniently located. We were able to cycle everywhere we wanted to go. It was voted the best family holiday ever!

We spent three weeks in Rotterdam, with our two teenagers, at Arjan and Kristin's house. Rotterdam, with its architecture, is a very interesting city to discover. It's very close to beautiful places too : Kinderdijk, Delft, Leyden, Den Haag... We had much to visit! The house was very welcoming, very quiet, and very well located in Rotterdam. We really had great holidays and hope we'll go back to Rotterdam and to the Netherlands soon. We deeply advise and recommend this house !!

We found Arjan and Kristen's home in Rotterdam to be a very comfortable and an enjoyable experience in a large melting-pot city. The location was terrific to explore Rotterdam (go on downtown Rotterdam 15min by foot or 5min by bycicle). The direct neighboorhood is full of restaurant (included a great Dutch restaurant advised by Arjan). It is still quiet and peacefull, with the river downtown the appartment. It is also well located to discover wonderful parts of Holland : Delf (city of artist Vermeer), La Haye, Kinderdijk (windmill - world heritage site of Unesco) and so on... Everything is available by bycicle (15 to 25 km). Arjan and Kristen make everything to feel us at home (as let us their parking car, and bycicle). Our home was in perfect condition on our return. We loved the house especially the very nice and bright living room overlooking an interesting canal. Rotterdam surprised us for the innovatives buildings like Marktal, the cubic houses and the Erasmus bridge but musea also. We enjoyed Den Hag, Delft, Gouda, Scheveningen and the wonderful garden of Keukenhof. Of course, even if Holland is not only tulips and windmills, we visited the Kinderdjik, a characteristic place which gave to us calm and peace. The dunes North of Scheveningen are a paradise of nature. Many thanks for this possibility to visit this very interesting part of Holland and many thanks to the kids who leaves a very nice design in our guest book.
