Das war ein prima Haustausch! Wir haben Johanneke und René bei unserer Ankunft getroffen . Sie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns alles prima erklärt . Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben und sie hat einen herrlichen Ausblick . Bei jeder Mahlzeit haben wir entspannt die Schiffe beobachtet , die vorbeifuhren.So chillig ! Man kann super am Ufer entlang joggen und damit direkt am Haus starten . Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Fussnähe und wir durften auch die Fahrräder unserer Tauschpartner benutzen . Das haben wir auch ausgiebig gemacht ! Amsterdam kannten wir schon , aber nicht diesen wunderbaren Stadtteil .So viel Wasser , richtig toll! Die Kommunikation war einfach über Whattsapp. Als wir nach Hause kamen war dort alles picobello! Also wir können einen Tausch mit René und Johanneke total empfehlen ! Gern würden wir nochmal tauschen .

Dear Johanneke & René, thank you so much for your hospitality! We had a great time in Amsterdam in your tasteful apartment with the stunning view over the city. We couldn't have met it better: Close to the city, but quiet in a very exciting area with a lot of fascinating modern architecture. We nearly felt like locals when we drove by your bikes criss-cross the city of Amsterdam which offers so much more interesting places than the (nice) canals. We appreciated so much to be close to all shopping facilities and furthermore reach the countryside and the sea in half an hour by bike. And there are so many fascinating museums that rainy days are no problem at all. It couldn't have been better: What a wonderful holiday time in the Netherlands. Hello Joana and René. Thank you very much for this unique experience living in your appartment in 19th floor in the center of Amsterdam. It simply was perfect! The location near to the Borneo and the east end harbour area, with its channels, bridges and houses next to the water was worth the visit just for it allone. Amsterdam city, the wind mills, the cheese...We got a totally new view from Holland. Thanks again, and maybe again? Who knows! Dogs seem to miss you already. Hans, Laura, Markus and Maria.

The views by day and by night were awe inspiring to us, living as we do in a rural valley in the north of England. We felt immediately at home in Rene and Johannekes stunning apartment that overlooks the whole of Amsterdam. We loved the area which was incredibly quiet yet just a few minutes walk from shops and lovely places to eat and have coffee. Amsterdam is city that at times seems overwhelmed by tourists and yet here we were able to explore the waterways and streets just as the locals do, we even took to the bikes one day! Rene and Johanneke were perfect hosts and guests and we thank them for giving us this wonderful exchange.

It was very nice to live in this cozy apartment. To be on the top of a skyscraper and watching over Amsterdam was very exciting and varied. Amsterdam is an interesting, lifely, modern and diverse place. The house is located in a modern architectural area and it is easy to get to the city center by bus, tram or bicycle. We enjoyed our stay in Johannekes und Renes home very much. It is a modern, very comfortable apartment with everything you need and an amazing view all over the harbour area from the 19th and 20th floor. It is really an excellent place to discover Amsterdam. René and Johanneke are living in a duplex on the top floors of a tower overlooking Amsterdam's docks... What a program ! The house is very comfortable and elegant and the view over Amsterdam is just breathtaking. The area is very nice and if you are interested in urbanism and architecture this place is for you. You will find everything necessary in the shopping center nearby and there are plenty of trams and buses to take you to the center of the town. Our hosts prepared everything for us to feel at homel, a light meal with a bottle of wine, fresh beds and towels, books about the area and a very complete instructions file. They were also perfect guests leaving our house spotless clean and they even prepared a fresh bed for our return ! They were very communicative about arrival and departure. This was a wonderful exchange and we recommend René and Johanneke warmly
