Bonita y acogedora casa situada en el centro histórico de Edam, en un lugar muy pintoresco y tranquilo. Disfrutamos de Amsterdam pero también recorriendo preciosos pueblos de la campiña, Marken, Volendam, Zaanse Schans y bonitas ciudades: Hoorn, Alkmaar, La Haya, Delf, Utrecht, Amersfoort...realmente nos encantó. Muchas gracias a Ellen y a Dennis, perfectos anfitriones, por sus detalles de bienvenida, por sus recomendaciones y por ser tan buenos comunicadores.

We had a great, chill week in Amsterdam. Ellen's and Dennis' flat is cozy and bright, with lots of cardboard games (which we enjoyed a lot). It is situated in a very quiet street, yet surprisingly close to a vibrant area with lots of little shops. Amsterdam is just a cool place with so many different possibilities. We would have loved to visit one of the children's farms in the city, but we were too busy visiting other things like the Rijksmuseum (also very recommended for families), a trip to the Archeon museum in Alphen, riding Ellen's and Dennis' bikes through the city and playing at least two cardboard games a day. Ellen was very easily accessible for any type of questions via Whatsapp. When we got home, everything was very clean and tidy and the cats seemed to have enjoyed their time with Ellen and Dennis, too. :-) So: Thank you a lot for this uncomplicated swap!

Echt ideaal gelegen, lopen naar de Albert Cuyck, metro de Pijp en lopen naar de tram die elke 6 minuten naar de stad rijdt en toch een heel rustige plek.

Ellen, Denis and family live in very nice apartment in the center of Amsterdam, close to famous sights like the Rijksmuseum. The apartment is located in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. The lively area 'De Pijp' (with restaurants and pubs) is within walking distance. Very warm welcome and smooth communication. Recommended.

We spent 2 very nice weeks in the small but well located apartment (and also quiet and safe) from Ellen and Denis. Near the museums area and we had the plaisir to use the bikes that were at our disposal. Thank you for all the informations about Amsterdam and things to do. We had a great time!

We had absolutely great time while staying in your place in Amsterdam. Your apartment offered all we have needed and was perfectly located - very close to many attractions, yet still sheltered from big city noise and rush. Meeting you in person on our way to the Netherlands was really nice and thoughtful. I hope that some day we can exchange again. There is no doubt that we will be coming back to Amsterdam and surrounding.

We spent 10 fantastic days here: the information provided were very helpful as well as recommendations for restaurants. We moved always by bike, which were provided by the owners; we rented a bike just for our youngest child. All was well organized!
