A cozy mountain house with a warm and reassuring atmosphere, in the ancient village of Saint Rhemy, at 1,631 mt s.l.m. along the Via Francigena, a stone's throw from the Gran San Bernardo pass, half an hour's drive from the city of Aosta, an hour from Courmayeur and an hour and a half from Chamonix-Mont Blanc.
Reachable from Milan Malpensa airport in an hour and fifty minutes and from Turin in just one hour.
The apartment is on three levels. The ground floor is occupied by a cozy living area separated from the kitchen by a rustic wall of rough wooden planks; on the same level there is a bathroom and a storage room. In addition to independent heating, a cast-iron wood-burning stove guarantees healthy heat for the coldest days. On the first upper floor, accessed by a wooden and stone staircase, there is a bedroom with four beds (bunk beds) and another bedroom with a double bed. A second wooden staircase leads to the small attic area with skylight and intended as a place for children to read and play. Guests will have access to the whole house and the related services, including wi fi internet, TV, fully equipped kitchen also dishwasher, a small library of mountain literature and hiking guides.
