Calitri is a mountain town in Italy of approximately 6500 people, and the ideal example of a true Italian town.

Our small apartment is fully equipped with a sink, stove, oven, refrigerator, and washing machine. A wood pellet stove has been added.

The living room has a stone wall, and the apartment has been painted. The bathroom is tiled and has a shower, sink, and toilet.

The upstairs loft has a marriage bed and small couch. There are stairs leading to the loft.
New linens, dishes, cookware, pillows, are furnished. The internet would need to be switched on but is available. There is also an internet cafe within walking distance. There is no television, but one could easily be added.

*Note that there are stairs or an uphill walkway to get to the apartment. Parking is located on the street below.

All of the restaurants in Calitri are wonderful and inexpensive, and there are a lot. The Golden Mill, a restaurant down the street from our apartment, is delicious and you can walk there.

Fun fact! Our apartment was featured on HGTV's House Hunters International, 2014, Campania, and is the first episode. The episode is no longer available, but we were able to purchase the episode on Amazon.

Public swimming available in town.

The historic district is not to be missed. Calitri is approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive to Naples, Italy, and the same distance to Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. We recommend flying into Naples and renting a car there.
