The medieval city of Kilkenny with its castle is 90 minutes, Waterford famous for Waterford Glass is just over an hour away. Limerick and Bunratty Castle just 2 hours drive. Nearer is Cobh famous for the Titanic and Irish Immigration plus Fota House and gardens. Midleton Distillery the home of Jameson Whiskey is only up the road. Also nearby is Ballymaloe world famous restaurant and cookery school, An Rinn an Irish Gaeltacht area and many cliff and forest walks are within an hour of Youghal.
