activities and historical sites are within an hours drive. Galway city 45 mins, Castlebar is 40 minutes, Irish country museum, Turlough 45 mins, Westport 1 hour, Sligo 1 hour 15 mins,Foxford woolen mills 45 mins Ceide fields1hour 30 mins, Clonmacnoise 1 hour 15 mins, Lough key forest park 1 hour, Bay sports 1 hour, Gruane pet farm 15 mins, Pots Of Fun indoor play center 15 mins, kylemore abbey and Victorian walled garden 1 hour 35 mins, Bunratty castle and folk park 1 hour 15 mins, Craggaunowen 1 hour 15 mins.

Our cycle greenway begins in Westport and runs all the way to achill island... a great active day out.
