Kevinsfort is a residential estate situated 5 mins walk from Sligo Bus & Train station and 10 mins walk to the town centre. The estate is serviced by the local bus link. It is 5k to Strandhill, which is a well-known surfing destination and 18-hole golf links. Th village itself has pubs, restaurants -coffee shops of which" Shells" is renowned. "Voya "sea- weed baths are also located in the village. Located 5 min walk to the bus/train station offers trains and buses that travel to Donegal, Dublin(6 trains a day)Galway Limerick Derry and Belfast. It serves most of the country. The location of the house is very central and within walking distance restaurants and pubs.

Knocknarea mountain is 5 min drive and an easy climb with splendid views from the top. Takes 30 mins to climb on the short path." Dorrins Strand" has a coastal walk to Strandhill. This is situated 5 min drive from the house. Takes an hour to walk the loop. There is a" Park" 5 mins walk from the house with paths and play area.It is also used for jogging. Rosses Point is 10 km from the house . There are spectacular views of Benbulben mountain on the way to Strandhill. There is a megalithic site and interpretive centre 5 min drive from the house.
There is horse riding in Mc Garry stables, also 10 min drive from the house.Easy access to Donegal from Sligo and quaint villages to visit as in Mullachmore and Maugherow .Donegal town is an hour drive .LoughGill the lake of W.B Yeats poetry( The Lake Isle Of Innisfree) is nearby and provide a service for boat trips. The Lough Gill Loop a very scenic drive. There are numerous walks surrounding Sligo . Local tourist office supplies information. Sligo has a theatre which hosts productions throughout the year.
