Interested in home exchange with Scandinavia/Spain or Italy summer 2020. You are welcome to our modern comfortable home in peaceful GREEN countryside. Our house is located central for visiting the south west of Ireland. The scenic Ring of Kerry and Killarney town, famous Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, Cork and Galway City are all within reach, and can be explored as day trips using our home as a base, for you to see the most beautiful and historic sights of Ireland. Our capital city, Dublin, is a 2 and half hour drive away, the nearest airport is Shannon Airport (an easy 25 minute drive).

Our neighbourhood is in a pleasant, rural part of County Limerick in the Munster region of Ireland also known as
The Golden Vale. It has local facilities and is an easy drive to Limerick city with all you would expect from a modern yet historic city, from the ancient King John's Castle, richness of Hunt Museum to the famous Thomond Park; home of Munster rugby. There are plenty of nice areas to stroll, from the pretty village of Adare to the panoramic hill of Knockfierna.

From our house you can enjoy pleasant walks and see rural landscapes and farmland. This is the place of the story of The Colleen Bán. A short drive brings you to Knockfierna Hill which has panoramic views of several counties. It is a short drive to Limerick city with all the shopping (Crescent S.C), history (The Hunt Museum/ St. Mary's Cathedral, and King John's Castle) and culture of a modern city with lovely cafes (Belle Italia)and restaurants (La Cuchina) well as the famous "Milk Market"on Fridays and Saturdays for live music and fresh produce. Music lovers will enjoy "Dolan's Warehouse" for live events. The University of Limerick has wonderful sporting facilities and summer camps as well as pleasant walks.
