We are a family of four living along the wild Atlantic Way in Salthill Village, Galway, West of Ireland. We enjoy travelling to new places, tasting local food, experiencing new cultures and the outdoors. Very respectful to other peoples houses. We are also open to swaps in Ireland. On occasion, parents may join us for part of our exchange

Fabulous property in the heart of Salthill Village. A 3 bed home, two double bed rooms and one room with 2 single beds.
Walk to the famous Salthill Prom to watch the sun go down on Galway Bay. Stroll around the medieval streets of Galway soaking up the ambience. Whether stopping along the Wild Atlantic Way or visiting Galway for its craic, arts and culture, this is the perfect place to stay!
10 min walk to Galway City centre, 2 min walk to Salthill Prom. Close to pubs, restaurants, music venues and city centre. Bus stop (401)right outside the door

Just 2 short minutes to the famous Salthill Promenade. Lots of beautiful restaurants in the Village, the halfway point of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Visit O'Connors Famous Irish Pub where Ed Sheeran recently filmed his new Single, 'Galway Girl'.
Galway Atlantaquaria is just around the corner. Lots of amusements and and even Casinos!
Walking distance to Galway City Centre 10-15 minutes

On our doorstep is the famous Salthill Promenade on Galway Bay and it's rocky coastline.
The grey-blue hills of the Burren and Black Head to the south-west, and on a very clear day, the mountains of Connemara to the north-west.
Take a scenic drive along the Wild Atlantic Way. http://www.wildatlanticway.com/home/. Take the ferry from Rossaveal to the Aran Islands, visiting the Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Caves, Burren sanctuary, Kinvara.
The Burren is located in northwest County Clare, on Ireland’s western coastline. In geological terms, the Burren is a superb example of a glaciokarst landscape. The region is underlain by limestone, a soluble rock, which has dissolved to form an array of unusual surface and underground karst landforms that have been modified by the effects of glaciation
Galway (Gaillimh) is European Capital of culture 2020. The concept for Galway 2020 is Making Waves. It is about creating new ways of thinking, new ways of working, new conversations and new partnerships aimed at ensuring a more creative Galway. The programme currently engages with 23 countries in the EU and four pan-European organisations that are active in different countries across Europe.
