We are a couple in our 60’s who enjoy the outdoors, good food and travel. We have four grown up children and three of them are married.We go on a lot of holidays with my two sisters and my brother in law so would be looking for at least three bedrooms.We have exchanged homes 13 times and it’s our favourite way to holiday.

A large five bedroom family home. Our kitchen is large and well equipped and looks out onto our south facing garden. We have a sunroom adjoining our kitchen which has two loungers that are perfect for relaxing in ! Our sitting room has a solid fuel stove which makes the room very cosy when the weather is bad. We have wifi and two modern TVs. Also we have a family room and downstairs toilet. Upstairs we have four bedrooms a family bathroom and an ensuite wet room. Our fifth bedroom is downstairs. Our garden is large and has a steel shed,vegetable bed railings and an electric gate.

Our neighbourhood consists of a development of eleven houses and is friendly but quiet. We are a fifteen minute walk to a long sandy beach which is great for long walks. Bettystown village has three supermarkets, a butcher's , fish and chip shop, two cafes and a restaurant ( Relish ). In Mornington ( a five minute drive ) you have Morans an authentic Irish pub with open fire and great pints of Guinness !

From our house it is a short walk to cafes,supermarkets, pharmacies, a butchers shop and of course the beach. The world heritage site of Newgrange can be reached in 30 minutes by car. Belfast is just 90 minutes away by car and can also be reached by train , Galway is 3 hours by car and is well worth a visit. Curling Ford is a quaint Irish village with plenty of shops to browse in and cafes to visit as well as hiking trails and a greenway for walking and cycling.
