We are situated in the "sunny southeast" of Ireland, just a 10 min drive from the medieval city of Kilkenny rich in culture and craft, with plenty of great restaurants (Kilkenny was voted Foodie Destination of the Year 2018 and is home to two Michelin star restaurants), great nightlife, a packed calendar of unique and traditional festivals and events and a place steeped in sporting achievement - Ireland's traditional sport of Hurling is the major sport in Kilkenny. The county has a history of excelling in hurling.

Kilkenny is on the river Nore which offers kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. Cycling and biking are very popular in the area. There are great golf courses nearby including the famous Mount Juliet Estate.

Kilikenny is in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East, a touring region rich in heritage. The city is just 1.5hrs from Dublin and about 2 hrs from Cork. There are excellent train and bus links from Kilkenny to other main cities and towns in Ireland. We are close to beautiful beaches in Co. Wexford. Kilkenny is an ideal base for exploring the sunny southeast of Ireland.
