Many activities are available to you:

- you will be 30 km North of Paris : in just 45min you can reach the capital by car or by train (there is a station in the town)

- The house is close to the Abbey of Royaumont (lovely place, 5 mins by car), the Chantilly castle and the Museum of the Horse, or the Ecouen castle and the National museum of the Renaissance.

- The cities of Auvers sur Oise - which used to be a key venue for Impressionist painters such as Monet, and Enghien Les Bains (Spa, Casino and pedal boat on the lake) are nearby as well. You can also go fishing in the river Oise.

- Normandy is only 2 hours away by car – you can go for a day-trip in beautiful cities like Honfleur, Cabourg ... and enjoy the beaches and Normandy landings

- You can also go to Giverny (home and gardens of Claude Monet), the Versailles castle …

- With children and teenagers, you can visit Parc Asterix, Disneyland Paris and Provins (medieval city with entertainment and shows), go climbing in the trees at Sherwood Park (5 mins by car), or go have fun in the giant slides at the waterpark Aquaboulevard in Paris.
There is a wide range of shops in the city center : several bakeries, a cheese maker, a butchery, a drugstore, a delicatessen with typical French and local products, a bookshop, several banks, restaurants… and a supermarket in Viarmes, 10 mins by walk or 5 mins by car. The charming towns of L’Isle Adam or Chantilly also offer a wide range of individual shops and delightful restaurants.
