We are a family of 4, me and my 3 kids of 15, 13 and 5 years old.
I am a researcher in applied math in geosciences, working at the numerical weather forecast centre in Toulouse. Lou-Ann is 15, she goes to high school, loves swimming, playing piano and spending time with her friends. Gabriel is 13, he is all about friends and outdoor adventures. Raphael is 5, he is the sweetest child.
I often have the opportunity to travel for work and I take the opportunity of such a trip this summer (July-August 2019) to Melbourne to organize a holiday with my children.

Your family will be well settled in our family home on the edge of the Bouconne forest, in the pretty village of Brax, a few kilometres from the beautiful city of Toulouse in southwestern France. Our home is full of life and colours, kids drawing and books! You will be able to relax in the garden, enjoy the swing and the fruit trees for shade. You will also be in the heart of the Occitanie region to visit the villages of the Gers and Haute-Garonne, close to the Pyrenees. There is so much to do in Toulouse: cycling on the banks of the Canal du Midi, walking on the banks of the Garonne, enjoying gastronomy, visiting the Cité de l'Espace (city of space), the many museums in the city centre, wandering from gardens to terraces of coffee, running or trailing in the forest and in the Pyrenees. It is a region adapted for relaxing but also sporty holidays, with family, lovers and friends,...
The house is modern (was built 10 years ago), with a fully equiped kitchen, 4 bedrooms for parents and kids, 2 bathrooms. The village centre is nearby and daily shopping can easily be done by bike.
Our bicycles and vehicle are at your disposal for the duration of your stay. It is also possible to take the train (5 minutes walk from the house) to get to the city centre of Toulouse in about 20 minutes.

Brax is a village of 2500 inhabitants, in the southwest of France. It is a great place to live, walk in the Bouconne forest, cycle, run, shop at the market. There is a bakery, a butcher's shop, a bar, a greengrocer, a hairdresser and two pizzeria. The surrounding villages offer many good gastronomic addresses, including Michelin-starred restaurants.
Very close to the city centre of Toulouse (20 minutes by car or 30 minutes by train). Ideally located in Haute-Garonne, close to the Gers and the Pyrenees.

The Forêt de Bouconne is located in southwest France, on the border of the departments of Gers and Haute-Garonne about thirty kilometres west of Toulouse. The forest has an area of 27 km2 (10 sq mi) and is managed primarily by the National Forests Office (20 km2 (7.7 sq mi)). It also includes privately owned woods and woods belonging to the local communes of L'Isle-Jourdain, Lévignac-sur-Save, Montaigut-sur-Save. It is the only large forest near Toulouse. It hosts a leisure centre and outdoor recreation areas.
The Forêt de Bouconne is traversed by many paths used by walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders.
