We are a family of 5 persons (3 children aged 17, 14 and 8) and a one year old cat. We leave in our apartment in the center of Paris since the birth of our first child in 2005. We both work in Paris (NGO and IT) and our children go to local schools.

Installed on the 2nd and last floor of a building on a large green courtyard (absolute calm, no neighbor above), our ground floor apartment is very bright (more than 10 windows) and spacious (125 m2). A large living room of 40 m2 with an open kitchen offers a friendly living space. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets; as well as a TV room (equipped with a sofa bed).
The decor is modern and comfortable, with old oak flooring.

Weekend at La Vallandière: We also offer you a night in an exceptional guest room, 3 hours from Paris (by train or car) near the Loire castles. The establishment is run by two friends. Rating 9.9 on Booking. You will enjoy a suite with a private lounge of 50 m2 for two.

The Oberkampf-Saint Maur district is very central and trendy (many restaurants, cafes, shops). Close to several means of transport (bus, metro, etc.) it allows easy access to all of Paris.
All shops are close to the apartment, including a large, quaint market.
The Canal Saint Martin is a 10-minute walk away.
It is a lively area where families and young people mingle, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

From our flat, you have a large choice of activities : the canal st Martin is 5 minutes walk, the place de la Republique 7 min walk, the famous cimetière Pere Lachaise is 10 min walk. There are plenties of food shops (small shops and supermarkets), bars and restaurants all around the flat. The food market, twice a week is 3 min walk. The nearest metro station is 2 min walk.

It is a family flat so we expect people who come to stay to take care of the flat as if they were at home. There are neighbours in the building so we ask people to be quite in the flat (we don't allowed parties). We have a very friendly cat (hypoallergenic) leaving in the flat so we ask people to feed the cat and be nice with her.
