You can stroll quietly in the neighborhood, where you will find coffee shops, wine bars, popular restaurants, fashion shops, Opéra Bastille, and three cinemas. Historicallly, we are within a short walking distance from the Place de la Bastille, Place des Voges, and the Marais area where ou will find the Picasso Museum.
There are no problems shoppingwise , as fresh vegetable and fruit markets can be found within short walking distance and all kinds of supermarkets, including those with organic foods are readily available.
Paris has an excellent public transportation system: within a very short distance you can take the Metro, or bus, rent a bicycle, or even a small electric car.
The two metro stations closest to our passage are: Bastille (Lines 1 and 5 )and Ledru-Rollin (Line 8). For example, Line 1 will take you to the Louvre, Concorde, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, etc.
If you like walking, there are many possibilities. For example, we are 45 minutes from the Bastille to Notre-Dame following the Seine . If you want to go to the East of Paris, there's a floral promenade along the old railway line that used to connect Paris to Bois de Vincennes.
