Castelnaudary is 25 mn from Toulouse, wonderful city with a very rich cultural heritage. Our house is equidistant from the sea and the mountains, 50 mn from the wide and beautiful sandy beaches of the Languedoc and less than an hour from the Pyrenees, not far from the Principality of the Andorra and the Spanish border. The Canal du Midi passes under our windows, you can walk along it on horseback or by bike or sail on a barge to the sea!
At the end of our garden, you can also take jut a boat or kayak ride on the lake...
In the city, you'll find all the necessary shops, small and medium supermarkets, open-air market, bakery, butcher, etc...You will also find firefighters, hospital, dentist, physiotherapist and all the necessary.

Castelnaudary et une petite ville extrêmement bien située pour tous les loisirs..Au coeur d'une région très riche en patrimoine (châteaux cathares, abbayes, églises), gastronomique et viticole (capitale du Cassoulet!!!!) au coeur de bons cépages (Minervois, Corbières etc...) à 50 mn de la plage des Chalets à Gruissan (de porte à plage!!), à 35 mn des premiers contreforts des Pyrénées, le tout niché dans un paysage valloné, tantôt aride, tantôt rocheux, tantôt boisé...sans parler du canal d'entre
deux mers que vous pouvez longer à pied, à bicyclette ou à cheval, jusqu'à ....la mer!.
Vous pouvez également embarquer au bourt du jardin pour des séances de kayak sur le plan d'eau, ou faire un tour sur le canal à bord d'un bateau ou d'une péniche.
Vous pouvez également pêcher au bout du jardin dans le lac de Castelnaudary..
