Set in the idyllic countryside of Tarn, awash with rolling hills, vineyards and traditional French farm houses, our spacious 300m2+ house is just 20 mins from the World Heritage City of Albi and neighbours the small medieval hill-top village of Castelnau-de-Montmiral.
Recently reconstructed farmhouse in the local vernacular, fully modernised with tiled floors throughout and a floor-to-ceiling glassed living area that opens up onto outdoor decking with wonderful views. The setting is very private, on the edge of a forest but only 8 minutes drive to the nearest large supermarket.

Enjoy the swimming pool, suppers al fresco and walks in the unspoilt pine and oak woods; or explore the French wine country where vineyards open their doors for wine-tastings. There is also a beautiful river great for kayaking and a swimming lake with tennis courts nearby. There are many interesting footpaths (randonnees) in the area, even from the house, some through woods and some on the limestone plateau.

The sunflower fields and vineyards warrant this area the title of ‘mini Tuscany’ and the local fortified village (bastide) is 'Une des plus belles villages de France'.
