Our summer cottage in Hundested is a unique place. It's directly by the sea - 12 meters above the sea line - and has a large natural garden of 1700 m2. The house is a classic Danish summerhouse in black wood and white windows. It's only 55m2 + an anneks with 18m2, but still has everything you need:
- 5 bed places in the main house:
- a comfortable bed sofa for the parents in the living room. Sounds perhaps less good, but it's actually the best bed place in the house since you'll wake up with a full sea view and the bed can easily be packed together during the day.
- a small 'childrens bed room' with beds for 3 kids. Our 3 kids sleep there and it works well.
- 2 good beds in a separate house/annex. We often have friends visiting us and then we place 2 kids on madresses on the floor. It's not spacy, but it works for a night or 2 - probably not for a week, since the space then would be too squeezed to call it comfortable.
- We have an outdoor bath tub - where you heat the water with an open fire. It takes 1-3 hours to heat to tub depending on the outside/water temperature.
- 1 outdoor shower (with warm water)
- 2 nice terrasses, where you can enjoy the view / have dinners etc.
- 1 bathroom with shower in the main house - and with washing machine and dryer
- Open kitchen and a large living room with space for up to 12 persons to sit at the table.
- Open fire place
- Bikes for 5 persons - 3 for adults and 2 for children
