From our home it is a 20 minutes walk to the newly developed Lansdowne Park with cinemas, stadium and ice skating arena for professional sports, children's playground, skateboard park, bars, restaurants, liquor store, Sunday Farmers' Market etc. We are a few blocks from the Rideau Canal and its bike/ walking paths on either side and a short walk to Bank St. with its shops, cafés & restaurants. From our central location you can walk or cycle to Parliament Hill, galleries, museums, the Experimental Farm and Dow's Lake. Across the Ottawa River in Quebec you can visit the vast Gatineau Park for hiking, cycling, swimming, canoeing and camping.
