We live in a quiet area with many large lots around and the forest on one side of us. There are several farm stands near by that sell vegetables, seafood, eggs, meat. There is a beautiful trail system that starts right here with lots of great vistas as well as tons of great hiking very close. The bird life here is very active, hummingbirds, eagles, woodpeckers, owls and lots of songbirds. Deer often come in our yard to eat my flowers! There is a bus stop about 2 Km away and we have bikes to lend and would consider a vehicle exchange. There is golfing 5 minutes away and a marina with kayak and paddle board rentals 10 minutes away. There's a grocery store 3 Kms away with a liquor store and pharmacy. There is lots of parking. There is a great cafe serving local food 5 min by car, a beautiful beach in Parksville 15 min drive with lots of shopping and restaurants. Nanaimo is 20 min south with lots of shopping, entertainment, beaches and lakes.
