Our quiet neighbourhood is within comfortable walking distance to the city centre. There is a large park (Victoria Park) with wooded trails, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, skateboard park, outdoor swimming pool, ice cream kiosk, splash pad, children's playground equipment as well as a beautiful boardwalk all along the waterfront area. There is an elementary school a few hundred meters from our home that has basketball nets, a soccer pitch, extensive playground equipment and a large grassed area. Just down the street there is a little grocery run by a Canadian Lebanese family. Charlottetown has a large selection of restaurants, theatre, museums, and so on. Charlottetown is a small city with less than 40,000 people. It is a lovely spot to visit.
