We also visited Ypres and some interesting World War I trenches at Sanctuary Hill, with its own museum. The countryside is ideal for cycling as it’s so flat and the roads are in excellent order. We did a round trip to the North Sea of over 40 miles - and one of us wasn’t even a regular cyclist. Steven was a great host as he was so communicative, relaxed and helpful, providing lots of useful suggestions as to what to visit and even where to park in the cities. His wonderful wood burning stove wasn’t needed as the weather was so good, but it is sure to make for a very cosy stay in the winter months. Thanks for a great stay. Kim
