The house of family Verschede is beautifully renovated with a lot of care for details. We really loved the interior style and immediately felt at home and able to relax. By bike the amazing medieval city centre of Gent can be reached in just ten minutes. The city is full of options to discover arts and history and to dive into the liveliness of the city with great food, shopping, bars etc. A train station is close to the house and you can reach Brussels and Brugge in just about half an hour. Antwerp and the seaside are also very easy (and pretty cheap) to discover by train. The organisation and communication with our hosts was just perfect. We really enjoyed the stay couldn´t imagine a better first home swap!

Van in het begin was het contact hartelijk en correct, het huis is goed gelegen met verschillende voorzieningen vlakbij. Rustige buurt en Gent binnen handbereik. Niet veel meer nodig om er een mooite ruil van te maken. Een aanrader!

A nice townhouse close to Ghent's historical center with a variety of shops in the direct vicinity and lovely helpful neighbours. We loved to take the bike downtown and enjoyed the perfect Belgian bike infrastructure particularly during Geente feesten, the summer music festivities that the city if renowned for. Ghent is a beautiful place and a must to visit and Fien's house definitely provides a wonderful base for that. Thank you!

Wat hebben we genoten van jullie huis en omgeving! Alles is aanwezig om een perfecte citytrip te doen in jullie mooie stad. De locatie is prima: alles op fietsafstand en toch uit de drukte. In het huis is alles aanwezig, ook de fietsruil was handig! We verkenden de binnenstad, waar het door de zomerse temperaturen aangenaam terrassen was! We gingen ook zwemmen in het mooie subtropische zwembad in jullie buurt, maar vonden het ook heerlijk in jullie achtertuin.\ Dankjewel voor jullie gastvrijheid en we wensen jullie nog veel succes met de verdere huisruilen! Mocht je nog eens naar Limburg willen komen, jullie hebben ons nummer!!
