We had been several times in Bruges before. But it is an amazing beautiful city. Sometimes overcrowded, but in the quiet moments. Marianne's house is cozy, with too much te see and read! But you feel immediately comfortabely at home. We met the co house Ben, who works with refugees. Due to the weather we biked to Cadzand, Wenduine and Bredene. Through the Brugse Ommelanden. Thats well to do, not much traffic. That's different in Bruges. If you want to go north , cross the canal, and several traffic lights. But it was a week to remember! Thanks!

We spent a great time in Marianne's lovingly decorated house. Besides Bruges we also visited Ghent, Brussels, Ostend, Wenduine and Damme. The North Sea lured us to visit the beach almost every day. So we had a perfect mix of culture and nature. Thank you Marianne.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Marianne's home. Her house is large and comfortable with its nice terrace and garden. It is located close to the city center of Brugge which you can reach by foot. We enjoyed using Marianne's bikes for some tours, for example to Oostende or to Sluis along the canals. The beach is only 30 minutes drive by car so we spent several days at the beach (Oostende, Blankenberg and De Haan). Marianne provided us very good hints and suggestions for good places to visit. Totally recommendable!
